The Friends of Bird Park and the Walpole Police Department are teaming up for a bicycle safety clinic at the park. On Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m., children and adults are invited to join bicycle police officers to patrol the park and learn the rules of the road. Participants are asked to bring their own helmets. The event is free, but refreshments will be sold, with the proceeds going to the park. More information is available by contacting the park office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 508-668-6136. The park, which is run by the Trustees of Reservations, is located off Polley Lane in East Walpole.
