The Braintree Farmers Market is seeking and reviewing applications from vendors and growers for the 2013 season. The market is hosted by Sustainable Braintree and operates every Saturday (rain or shine) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from June 15 through Oct. 26. Products must be locally grown or made, and using local ingredients is encouraged. Interested vendors should complete a vendor questionnaire available at www.sustainablebraintree.org/FarmersMarket.html. The market offers a variety of produce and artisan foods, including fruits, vegetables, eggs, hormone and antibiotic-free meats, seafood, prepared foods, flowers, plants, preserves, baked goods, honey, bread, nuts, granola, cheeses, and fair-trade coffee. The market and all special events (such as the Strawberry Festival and Clam & Lobster Feast) are free. For additional information, call 781-848-2012.
