The Town of Kingston invites all local veterans to participate in the town’s Memorial Day parade to be held on May 27. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the Kingston Elementary School, 150 Main St., and stop at all of the town’s war memorials, where tributes will be made to veterans of those wars. A brief ceremony will be held at the Kingston Town House Green, 26 Evergreen St., at the conclusion of the parade. The town’s veterans service office asks all those who wish to march in the parade to arrive at the elementary school at 9:30 a.m. The town will provide a transportation for veterans who need a ride along the parade route. If you need a ride, call the veterans’ service office at 781-585-0515.
