Winslow Farm hosts photo contest


Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary, a nonprofit sanctuary in Norton, is hosting a photo contest with a one-year family membership as the prize. The farm welcomes visitors and hosts programs for children, including Kids’ Day in July, with a bounce house and other activities. Diane Rose, marketing manager, said an Egyptian-themed weekend is scheduled for June 22 and 23. About 200 rescued animals call the property home, including alpacas, birds, cats, dogs, donkeys, goats, horses, llamas, pigs, rabbits, and sheep. For the contest, the farm is looking for the best digital photo of a family enjoying time at the farm. To enter, e-mail photos to Rose by May 31 at
