Farmers market open Saturdays

The weekly Stoughton farmers market is now open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Trackside Plaza parking area on Route 27. Parking is available at the MBTA station. Organizers say there are eight full-season vendors and seven rotating ones. Three vegetables farms are participating, along with other vendors selling pasta, seafood, cheese, baked foods, and ice cream, along with nonedible items such as hand-crafted soap, bird houses, wooden toys, jewelry, and homeopathic products. Live music will be performed each Saturday. A children’s tent will offer toys and books, and there will be a health and wellness area and downtown walking tours offered. The market will continue weekly through October 26. For more information, go to www.stoughtonfarmersmarket.org.
