Norwood High featured in state program

Norwood High School was featured in a state program aimed at helping local officials complete building projects in their communities. The “Story of a Building” program, offered by the state Office of the Inspector General, was started in March and first showcased Beverly High School. Norwood High School, which was based on a model school plan offered by the state, was the second building to be highlighted. A one-day class, which cost $125, took place on May 23. The day included a tour of the building with a question-and-answer period with those involved with the construction. Topics included lessons learned, ingredients for a successful project, and post-construction experiences. Hanover High School will be featured on Sept. 16.
