Old Colony students design new cable website

A new website for the cable-access station Lakeville Community Access Media, known as LakeCAM, launched in late June. The site was designed and created by computer information system students from Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School. Since March, the students worked to revamp the site with LakeCAM president Robert Marshall and executive director Allen Russell. Information at the station includes links to local newspaper stories, videos about local events and organizations, programming for children, and a local talk show, “Cranberry Country Journal.” Russell said the site will also host videos from local graduations and be updated regularly, including with information about a film festival he is running this summer.
