Dog trial: Sheepdog Junction will hold a regional sheep dog trial at Soule Homestead on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dogs from all over the East Coast will compete in this event, which will be judged by Berni Armata of the North East Border Collie Association. River race: The North & South River’s Watershed Association’s 23d annual Great River Race on the North River will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. All skill levels are invited to partake in the race in nonmotorized vessels including canoes, kayaks, and rowboats.
