Library offers “Stitch Therapy”

Morrill Memorial Library director Charlotte Canelli said she has been knitting since she was 8 years old and thought that there might be an interest among Norwood residents to gather and talk while they stitch. Canelli said she and another staffer began holding stitching gatherings in May and continue to do so the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the trustees’ room on the top floor of the library. Anyone interested in joining the group should register ahead of time to ensure the library has set aside enough space. She said knitting, crocheting, embroidery, or other forms of stitching are welcome.
