The Mansfield Education Foundation, which has given $30,000 in grants to teachers and schools since its creation three years ago, is giving $10,000 to Mansfield High School this year for technology to support science and math learning. Foundation president Marybeth Cragan said that providing updated technology, including new laptops and lab equipment, will help to “excite and generate innovative thinking” and prepare students for their colleges and careers. The foundation also announced a grant for $2,500 to help build a play structure at Robinson Elementary School. The group raises money through donations from fund-raising, individuals, and corporate partners, including the stores of Mansfield Crossing.
