Fall Town Meeting scheduled

The Board of Selectmen recently set Oct. 7 as the date of the fall Town Meeting. Aug. 19 is the deadline to submit articles for the meeting. In other business at its July 25 meeting, the board revoked the all-alcoholic license for McMahon’s Countryside Grille, 336 Old Colony Road. The board acted because the establishment failed to operate in the hours listed on its license, according to officials. The board awarded one-day liquor licenses for events that will be held as part of the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston, in Norton.
