Foam Day in Dedham

In a summer tradition that goes back more than 20 years in Dedham, the town marked Foam Day last Wednesday afternoon as firefighters sprayed children at the town pool with a safe solution used to fight some large fires. Top, Lieutenant Michael Huff sprays the foam out as children stand under the stream. Bottom left, the children lather up as the foam keeps coming. Bottom right, to get the suds off, children ran to another firefighter who was operating a standard water hose, ready to be washed clean of the foam.
