Nick Asselin, Braintree White Sox: Asselin was named the Cranberry League Pitcher of the Year after going 5-0 with a league best 0.66 ERA during the regular season. Through 32 innings pitched, he also led the league in WHIP with 0.844.

Trevor Cooley, Boston Prospects 16U Elite: The Catholic Memorial rising junior from Randolph pitched a 13-strikeout no-hitter last Saturday against the South Jersey Roadrunners for a 3-0 win in the second game of the Plymouth Rock U16 Wood Bat Classic. Only six innings were played due to time constraints.

Vin Guglietti, Plymouth Pilgrims: With his team tied at two in the bottom of the ninth inning, Guglietti hit a walkoff grand slam against the Laconia Muskrats on Monday at Plymouth’s Forges Field. It was the .260 hitter’s second home run this season.

Colby Randall, 16U Atlantic Mariners: The rising junior infielder from Plymouth is batting .500 for the summer. He has broken out in the last two tournaments with eight hits and two walks in four games after moving from the leadoff spot to the three-hole.

Dave Tarr, Brockton Post 35: Tarr’s nine-strikeout three-hitter led Post 35 past Canton Post 24, 6-0, in the first round of the Intrastate tournament’s South Sectionals. The Cardinal Spellman graduate is going into his sophomore year at Massasoit Community College.
