Mobile memorial wall on display

The Iraq and Afghanistan Moving Memorial Wall will be on display next Sunday at the James M. Hurley Senior and Veterans Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Opening ceremonies will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. The event is free to attend, but donations to support the wall will be accepted. The wall is a wooden structure built by the Yarmouth Moose Lodge and is hand-painted with the names of service members who died in Iraq and Afghanistan. Michael Cunningham, director of Randolph Veterans Services, said the wall is similar in concept to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. For more information, contact the Randolph Veterans Service Office at 781-961-0930.
