Annual Senior Cookout will be at the Senior Center

The 33d annual Abington senior citizen cookout will take place Aug. 23, and for the first time will be held at the Senior Center at 441 Summer St. All seniors are invited to the event, which is free of charge and will feature music, food, and prizes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rick Walsh Music Services will provide Big Band era music. Council on Aging Director Suzanne Djusberg said that state Representative Geoff Diehl is expected again to be manning a grill or serving food.
