Following a rash of motor vehicle thefts recently, the Police Department is encouraging residents to take precautions to prevent break-ins. Among the recommendations are rolling up windows and locking vehicles, placing valuables in the vehicle’s trunk, and avoiding parking near objects and vehicles that obstruct visibility. Residents are encouraged to immediately report suspicious behavior, including people pulling on door handles or looking into windows, and sounds, including glass breaking and alarms. Residents with questions may contact Lieutenant Nick Zeoli at 781-871-3890.
