Hull

Tale of two dogs

Police are still looking for the man who kicked Cleo, a 4-year-old Yorkshire terrier, in the head last month at Nantasket Beach. The dog’s right eye was so severely injured it had to be removed, according to VCA Roberts Animal Hospital in Hanover. Hull’s animal control officer is coordinating donations to help pay for the medical expenses, and police ask anyone with information to call 781-925-1212. “She’s doing much better,” said Cleo’s owner, Kim Norton. In another canine matter, selectmen last month declared Logan a dangerous dog after he bit two people and another dog in separate incidents. The English bulldog now lives in Boston, but selectmen said police must be notified if he visits Hull and the house posted with a “Beware of Dog” sign. The dog must be muzzled and leashed when outside the house or behind a locked, fenced enclosure, selectmen said.
