The Rockland Police Department has joined a nationwide crackdown on impaired driving through the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. The campaign began on Aug. 16 and will run through the Labor Day weekend. Police officers will be looking for impaired drivers during the crackdown, with plans to arrest anyone found operating a vehicle in that condition. The campaign is federally funded through the state’s Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, Highway Safety Division. For more information, contact the police at 781-871-3890.
