Mary E. Willis, the Council on Aging director, has revived her cable television show, “Elder Savvy.” . The half-hour program, which deals with senior topics, had been in hiatus for about a year after PACTV took over operation of Pembroke’s local access station, and the studio where it had been videotaped, in the community center, closed. But at PACTV’s invitation and with encouragement from seniors, Willis has brought the show back. The program will now be taped by PACTV at the senior center. The first program was taped in July, and starting this month, a new show will be taped monthly. “Elder Savvy” airs on Channel 15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 a.m., Fridays at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Saturdays at 6 p.m. This show scheduled for taping on Sept. 16 will focus on diabetes.
