Expanded health care at Patriot Place

The Brigham and Women’s/Mass General Health Care Center located at Patriot Place expanded last week, opening a new ear, nose, and throat practice on the facility’s third floor. Following the opening ceremony, Brian Earley, the Route 1 mall’s general manager, said the addition of new services will help expand regional access to health care. Kara Griffin, executive director of the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce, lauded the undertaking as a promise of not only better health, but a vehicle for more jobs in the Foxborough, Mansfield, and Norton area. While complex inpatient surgical procedures will still take place at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, most pre- and post-operative care can be performed at the Foxborough health care center, as well as outpatient surgical procedures, officials said. For more information, call the center at 866-378-9164.
