Erin Decoste , Oliver Ames: The senior striker volleyed a ball for a one-timer into the top left corner of the net from 20 yards out in her team’s 3-0 win over King Philip Regional on Monday.

Sabrina Ferhani , Dedham: Through three games, the senior forward has three goals and a helper; two of the goals were against Framingham in a 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

Adriana Forcucci , Cardinal Spellman: After finishing second on the team in goals as a freshman, the sophomore forward tallied a hat trick in her first game this fall, a 5-1 win over Brockton.

Kim McNally , Canton: The senior captain had two goals and recorded an assist on the third score, by freshman forward Tessa Cudmore, as the Bulldogs beat host Norwood, 3-0, last Sunday.

Emily Weimer , Duxbury: The American University-bound senior captain collected a goal and an assist in Monday’s 2-2 draw with Scituate, two days after scoring a hat trick in a 4-1 win against Barnstable. She finished last season with five goals.

Game of the week

Canton vs. Franklin, Monday, 3:30 p.m.: Defending Division 1 state champion Franklin will be hosted by the reigning Hockomock League champion Bulldogs. The matchup will be the fourth game for Canton’s new mentor, Kate Howarth, in her first season as a head coach.
