Marion’s search for a facilities manager yielded 34 applications, said Town Administrator Paul Dawson. The field will be reviewed by a subcommittee of town officials, which includes Dawson; Jonathan Dickerson, chairman of the Board of Selectmen; Eugene Jones, regional facilities manager for the Old Rochester School District; and Scott Shippey, Marion’s building commissioner. The facilities manager position will oversee upkeep at about 40 town-owned buildings, Dawson said. Salary range for the position is $65,000 to $75,000 a year.
