Donations of canned food will be accepted at the event, which begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. at the John T. Nichols Middle School, 112 Tiger Drive, for the 10 a.m. event. Food and beverages will be served after the race. Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finisher in a variety of categories from junior, at age 18 and under, to grand veterans, for those ages 70 and older.
