Halloween costume swap at Tufts Library

Parents and kids can exchange their old Halloween costumes at the Tufts Library for different, “gently used” ones in what organizers are calling a “fun way to recycle and economize.” The library is accepting costumes through Monday, and donors will receive a ticket for each donated item. On Thursday, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., participants can trade their tickets for new costumes. The exchange will open to non-ticket-holders from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., when costumes will be available for a $2 donation to the Friends of the Weymouth Public Libraries. Tufts Library is located at 46 Broad St.
