The Sharon Historical Society is holding its annual yard sale outside the Yellow Schoolhouse Museum on Saturday. The sale usually raises about $3,000 to support the society's museum and programs, according to Shirley Schofield, a Historical Society member. "We do depend on it," she said. The sale offers donated items, including antiques, baked goods, books, china, collectibles, kitchenware, furniture, small appliances, and tools. Merchandise from the museum gift shop, such as note paper, postcards, and books about Sharon, will also be for sale. A snack bar will sell coffee and doughnuts in the morning and hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch. The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 16 High St. The museum and carriage house will be open, with free admission, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
