Cultural Council accept grant proposals

The Hanover Cultural Council is seeking grant proposals from organizations and individuals interested in providing arts-related community programming. The application postmark deadline is Tuesday. Application forms can be found at massculturalcouncil.org. The Council has more than $4,250 in grant money to dole out for project proposals, which may include school field trips and arts programs, artist residencies, festivals, lectures, and performance series. The grants are funded in part through the state Legislature’s annual contribution to the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which in turn gives funds to the state’s 329 regional arts organizations. Priority is given to applicants who have already arranged a venue for their program, and whose proposal will serve the Hanover community. Grant decisions will be announced in December.
