The Duxbury Cultural Council is looking to award $4,250 in grants this year. Applicants must be postmarked by Tuesday to be considered. Approximately $4,000 was given out last year to such organizations as the Snug Harbor Community Chorus, the Friends of Duxbury Council on Aging, the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, and the South Shore Art Center for its arts festival. Applications must include a confirmed venue. Preference is given to local performances, events, and artists. Field trip applications are not being considered at this time.
