For the past five years, the Hull Boosters have been scrambling to raise tens of thousands of dollars annually to support sports teams and other extracurricular activities at Hull High School — and all suggestions are welcome, said vice president Peter Boretti. "It's very hard, [and] it is getting frustrating because we want to provide everything we can to these children — everything we had when we didn't have to worry about budgets," Boretti said. As part of that effort, the Boosters this Friday will host a "spirit medium" at the Knights of Columbus Hall, and on Thanksgiving Day will hold a fund-raising "golf ball drop" after the Hull-Cohasset football game. Participants will buy numbered golf balls, which will be hoisted into a donated crane and then dumped on the field. Prizes will be awarded to the three balls that land closest to the 50-yard line. More information about both events and the Boosters is available at www.hullboosters.org or by calling Boretti at 781-925-0640.
