Letter: House sellers should recycle

I was surprised to see the photo with the April 27 article “Flipping houses for fun, profit.”

I realize this cable TV program is all about entertainment and perhaps some drama, but I was sorry to see (possibly) usable bathroom sinks being destroyed, when they might be recycled for use in another home.

I hope that photo does not illustrate common practice on “Flipping Boston.”

It would be nice to imagine that the show donates reusable materials to a worthy charity like Boston Building Resources rather than adding to landfills. Who knows; they could even get some PR out of it.
