Beach hot dog stand OK’d


Selectmen have issued a license for a college student to operate a hot dog cart on Egypt and Peggotty beaches. Edward Culhane III, a sophomore at Trinity College, told the board that he’d ordered the cart online and planned to use the experience to learn how to start a business. The board issued a seasonal hawker and peddler license for Wicked Wienner, contingent on Board of Health approval. “We wish you the best of luck, and if I see you, I’ll be stopping,” selectmen chairman Shawn Harris told the young entrepreneur.
