City posts online energy survey

Residents are being encouraged to fill out a six-question online survey to improve Quincy’s chances for being considered for the state’s Solarize Mass program. The program, a partnership between the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and the Green Communities Division of the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, allows participants to purchase small-scale solar electricity equipment as a group at below-market rates. More than 900 residents and business owners in the state have taken advantage of the program over the past four years, according to Solarize Mass.
