Plymouth-Carver High School’s class of 1967 will hold a golf tournament to benefit school scholarships Saturday at Southers Marsh Golf Club in Plymouth. Registration is at 12:30 p.m. and tee time is 1 p.m., with a shotgun start. The cost is $400 per foursome, which includes green fees, cart, and dinner. There will be a helicopter ball drop, and Howie Robertson, owner of Robertson’s GMC Truck in Wareham, is donating a 2014 GMC Terrain four-wheel-drive SUV as a grand prize for getting a hole-in-one. Non-golfers are invited to attend the dinner at 6 p.m., and admission is $35. There will be a cash bar, raffles, and prizes. For dinner tickets, send a check to PCHS Class of 1967, P.O. Box 185, Carver, MA 02330. To pre-register for the golf tournament, or to donate raffle packages and prizes, e-mail Ron Randall at ronaldrandall@verizon.net. Registration will also be available on the day of the tournament. Proceeds from the event will benefit scholarships for students at Plymouth North, Plymouth South, and Carver high schools.
