The Halalisa Singers are a 31-member vocal ensemble with an emphasis on world music. Members of the group and the artistic director talk about what ”world music” means to them and why it is so beneficial for accomplished vocalists to be part of an ensemble this size. Also in the region this week are artisan fairs for holiday shopping; holiday concerts; and a range of theatrical productions highlighting the excitement of the season.
