Day center also open mornings

The Community Day Center of Waltham, a daytime drop-in facility for homeless and other people in need, is operating on its winter schedule. In addition to its usual weekday hours of 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., the center will be open from 7:30 to 9 a.m. through April 6. In addition to homeless individuals, the day center is a place where people experiencing poverty, abuse, unemployment, and health issues can get assistance in searching for employment and housing; Internet and telephone access; and referrals for health and legal help.
