Candidates for town manager


Forty candidates have applied to replace Brian Sullivan as town manager. The Board of Selectmen’s chairwoman, Clarissa Rowe, said the field will be narrowed to six to 10 candidates who will be interviewed next month. The board will then choose two or three finalists, who will be interviewed again by the board during public hearings. Sullivan said in September that he will retire in February after eight years on the job. His salary is approximately $161,000. - Brock Parker
