Waltham’s Bandini wins award for lifetime service

Curry College football coach Skip Bandini of Waltham will receive the 2012 Ron Burton Distinguished American Award from the Jack Grinold/EasternMassachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation. The award is presented to a former player who has carried the lessons learned on the field to a lifetime of service to the community and named in memory of Burton, the former Patriots running back who cofounded the Pop Warner program in Framingham.
