Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services will celebrate its volunteers and staff, and honor community leaders during its eighth annual gala scheduled for Feb. 11. The nonprofit organization has named Edwin Coghlin Jr. as this year’s recipient of its Harry S. Cutting Jr. Award for community service. The agency said Coghlin is being honored in particular for his work as an advocate of vocational education in the region. Other honors to be highlighted include the social-services agency’s Outstanding Youth of Shrewsbury Award for a local teen volunteer.
