With the town marking its bicentennial this year, local officials are starting a series of forums exploring its history. The first event, scheduled for Jan. 28, will cover 1812 to 1862, a period when the town’s social atmosphere underwent significant changes. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the 1870 Town Hall.
