The town’s Green Technology and Recycling Committee will host a public meeting Thursday about the goals and benefits of becoming a Green Community. Committee chairman Carl Guyer, Kelly Brown, a state Department of Energy Resources regional coordinator, and Rethinking Power Management spokeswoman Anita Haspiel will discuss the Green Communities program, including why they believe it is a worthwhile effort.
