Burning permits available

Permits are available for the town’s burning season, which runs until May 1. Burning may be conducted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents are asked to review the town’s open burning requirements and responsibilities, and visit the town’s website, www.town.franklin.ma.us, or the Fire Department headquarters to obtain a permit. For more information, call the town’s burning permit activation hot line at 508-553-5574.
