The Reuben Hoar Library is presenting Littleton Reads, a townwide book discussion program with events scheduled through June. The first book to be discussed is “The Omnivore’s Dilemma,’’ by Michael Pollan. The kickoff event is an appearance Saturday at 2 p.m. in the library by Frances Lappe, author of “Diet for a Small Planet.’’ For more information or to register for any of the Littleton Reads events, call 978-540-2600 or go to www.littletonlibrary.org.
