It is license time for dog owners in town, but anglers and hunters will have to go elsewhere for their permits this year. Residents have until March 1 to secure paperwork for dogs at least six months old. The annual fee is $20, or $10 for neutered or spayed pets. Failure to license a dog incurs a $25 fine in addition to the annual fee. A current rabies vaccination certificate is required. Meanwhile, hunting and fishing licenses are now obtained through the state wildlife agency’s MassFishHunt program.
