Celebrating Title IX after 40 years

The Boston Society of Architects presented Gund Partnership with its 2011 Award for Design Excellence in recognition for the firm’s work on the new Newton North High School project, according to the group’s website. The recipients are selected by a jury that takes into account all aspects of a project’s design, such as aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability measures. The society deemed the school “a civic and educational gift to the present and future.’’
