The Friends of the Northborough Senior Center’s eighth annual Chocolate Spectacular fund-raiser is scheduled for Saturday. For a donation of $20, participants can indulge in an all-you-can-eat array of chocolates while sipping wine and socializing with members of the community. The proceeds from the event, taking place from 3 to 5 p.m. at Whitney Place, 238 West Main St., will help the Council on Aging provide social services and emergency aid to the town’s older residents. The event will also feature a silent auction and live piano music. Tickets are available from members of the Friends organization, at the Senior Center, 119 Bearfoot Road, or at the door; the snow date is next Sunday. - Jennifer Roach
