School’s architects win design award

William and Nancy Gannett of Hopedale recently were honored by Milford Regional Medical Center for their 76 years of combined service to the hospital. The Gannetts, who are retiring from the board of trustees, were named the board’s first trustee emeriti during the medical center’s annual meeting last month. Gannett, whose grandfather, former Massachusetts governor Eben S. Draper, founded Milford Hospital in 1903, had served on the board of trustees since 1968. His wife joined him on the board in 1976.
