Mosquito spraying an option

Residents who don’t want their homes sprayed for mosquitoes later this year can opt out of the East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project but must notify the Framingham town clerk’s office by March 1. Homeowners must also mark their property lines every 50 feet with orange surveying tape or a similar product. To opt out, send a certified letter that includes your name, address, telephone number, property marking method, and name of the project - East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project - to the town clerk at 150 Concord St., Framingham, MA 01702. For more information on spraying and opting out, contact the mosquito project’s office at 781-899-5730. - Megan McKee
