Opening on Conservation Commission

The death of Richard Upjohn last month has left the Southborough Board of Selectmen with an empty seat on the town’s Conservation Commission - a seat held by Upjohn for 34 years. The board is calling on passionate and knowledgeable residents to apply for the position. The term will expire on June 30, 2014. Those interested in applying should send a cover letter and resume to the Board of Selectmen, 17 Common Street, Southborough, MA 01772. Applications can also be e-mailed to selectment@southboroughma.com. The board plans to fill the seat quickly, so interested parties should apply as soon as possible. - Jennifer Roach
