Elementary lines may change

The School Committee reviewed changes to elementary school enrollment districts, making district boundaries in some areas more flexible to allow the department to assign children to the school with the smallest class size. Children in buffer zones on the edges of school districts may attend different schools. The school board heard the new plan on March 1, and will vote on it after the plan undergoes some amendments based on new school enrollment predictions and space constraints. - Andreae Downs
