Regional rabies clinic for pets

The town will join forces with Franklin to hold a rabies vaccination clinic March 31 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Department of Public Works on Blackstone Street. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers, and the $20 fee must be paid in cash. Written proof of an animal’s previous rabies vaccination within the past nine to 12 months is necessary in order to obtain a three-year vaccine at the clinic. For more information, call the town’s animal control office at 508-966-5823, or Franklin’s animal control office at 508-520-4922. - Rachel Lebeaux
