Sweet benefit for cat shelter

The Milford Humane Society will hold its seventh annual Chocolate Festival next Sunday to raise money for its no-kill, all-volunteer cat shelter. For $5, participants will be able to taste cakes, cookies, and other goods baked from volunteers’ favorite recipes. Gift baskets also will be on sale. All proceeds go toward the care of the shelter’s cats and kittens. The Chocolate Festival will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 123 Holliston St. in Medway.
